Instancing, Tessellation & LOD

Instancing is the technique which provides you the possibility to draw numerous times the same object with different sizes, color, textures and position with a great frames rate. Instead of loading a million time the same mesh to draw it million time in the scene, the mesh is loading only one time and it provides you better result. Combined with the Frustum Culling, we can reach easily the 400 fps with 3500 objects in the scene. The benefit of that technique is massive because it will draw in the scene only the objects which are visible by the camera by defining a bounding box around each mesh. It helps to test if the object is in the cone of view.
