PASTAGAMES - PacMan Party Royal
Pastagames is a successful French video game studio known for its colorful, arcade-inspired titles. I worked as the Graphics Programmer on Pac-Man Party Royale, a multiplayer game developed for Bandai Namco and Apple Arcade.
In this role, I was fully responsible for the implementation and optimization of the game's rendering pipeline using C++ and GLSL. I collaborated closely with the art team to design and implement custom shaders in line with the game's vibrant visual identity, ensuring a polished and performant look across all supported Apple platforms.
I also developed a full-featured single-player mode ("Adventure Mode"), handling both gameplay logic and integration into the core game loop. Additionally, I created internal debugging and visualization tools to assist the Game Design and QA teams in tracking gameplay metrics and graphical performance.
My responsibilities extended to maintaining Apple platform compatibility, ensuring seamless performance across iOS, tvOS, and macOS through continual updates and testing in the evolving Apple Arcade ecosystem.
